About the Siddhar Sages:
The Siddhars are enlightened Sages who journey beyond the realms of the
limited mind state. They are in the state of higher consciousness that
is beyond sleep, dream and wake. It is this divine state called Turiya
that they sing and chant and dance in the higher resonance with sublime
bliss.

Tapasyogi Kalathi Adiyen Nandhi is a visionary, a yogi, an
artist and a musician. He was born and raised in South India.
After nearly two decades of rigorous yogic training and
meditative practice under the guiding influence of several
enlightened masters who are from the lineage of the Siddhars.
From them, he learned the secret wisdom of an unbroken lineage
of several thousand years of tradition. Nandhi was initiated

Our first track – “Dance of the Siddhars”-
The music and chant intends to awaken the body and the mind of the
listener to the primal resonance.[Va
Va Va Va Yen Guru Natha-invoke the Siddha Guru . ”A” is the sound
resonance invoking the Goddess. "Va" also means in Tamil "come" and "Yen"
means "my". "Natha" is the term to denote the higher realized beings, the
Siddhars. By invoking this mantra, we are calling our personal ancient

This song invokes joy and the heart’s yearning to connect with the Soul.
[Sarva
Mangala- Invoke the Auspicious Goddess Sarva" means universal and "Mangala"
means "the auspicious". By dwelling on the inner vibration of the mantra
that invokes the presence of the Goddess, the grace of divine wisdom is
showered. This mantra chant invokes the guidance of Mother Kundalini.

Siddha Intensity-
These chants were recorded on an auspicious full moon night. It is a
Kundalini climb upwards. It gets the listener ready to absorb the immense

higher into wisdom while shedding intellect with the chant. The mystical

"Deep in the spiritual wilderness of
South India, in
a cave of the sacred mountain Thiruvannamalai, the sage Ayya has been
(and still is) in a state of incredibly deep, powerful meditation.
Consuming nothing more than a glass of milk daily, the sage has dwelled
in this cave for over seventeen years. The state he exists in is called
“Turiya”; a form of higher consciousness that transcends the boundaries
of our physical world.
Turiya Yoga, a
practice where higher forms of knowledge and illuminations are
cultivated, is a practice of the Siddhar Sages. These evolved yogis have
journeyed on the path of light beyond enlightenment to achieve a state
of perfection. They have reached the ultimate goal of yoga… to literally
merge with the divine. The sage Ayya has reached this goal- he no longer
needs sleep or food, he exists in a passionate union with God. The first
passageway on this mystical journey can be found in the breath, when it
resonates with the energy of ancient mantras and vibration bringing in
the presence of the Siddhar Sages. This resonance with the divine breath
is called “Turiya Nada”.
The recording of Turiya
Nada – “CAVE OF THE SIDDHARS” came into being through Nandhi, an initiate of Ayya. Born and raised in
TamilNadu, Nandhi was introduced to the path of the Siddhars after being
taken through a near death experience by a saint. The album CAVE OF THE
SIDDHARS came into being at the request of his guru Ayya, who initiated
Nandhi into the path of the Siddhars and mentally communicated to him
that to him that he wished for him to share these sacred mantra to the
world so that may be guided toward eternal light..
Nandhi chose the
didgeridoo as one of the recording’s central instruments due to its
other-worldly sound, which he feels truly captures the essence of the
deep breath of the mantras. According to Nandhi, the pure, primal,
undulating magical drone of the didgeridoo makes it “the only instrument
that comes close enough to the sounds of meditation.” The album employs
the splendid didg playing of Cofe Fiakpui to achieve the blissful
results you hear. Also included is harpist Edwing Sankey, percussionist
Christo Pellani and keyboardist Ming Freeman, all of which are on the
Siddhar path. The beautiful combination of enchanting instrumentation
and ancient, potent mantras makes this recording incredibly useful for
meditation, yoga, bodywork, manifestation, healing and simple
tranquility.
A testament to its potential, CAVE OF THE SIDDHARS
scored between 1000-1250 on Dr David Hawkins’ consciousness calibration
scale, which computes one’s consciousness level through applied

the energies moving through it. It was soft and well modulated so as
not to disturb the feelings and the native

seeing the face of a Jaguar or Cougar.

have had several meditations while listening to this CD. The first
track I find grounds me in a way, the strong rhythmic steady drumming,
along with the didgeridoo and chanting, seems to focus my
concentration and attention allowing my mind to settle very quickly
and prepare for the journey.
The following tracks then gently guide me
into states of higher and higher consciousness, into the transcendent
spaciousness of all and nothing. Track two entrances me and the
journey upward begins, track three is even more compelling and the
divine calling becomes stronger, deeper. I seem to be focused here in
my sixth and seventh chakras mainly. The last track I find very
powerful. The chanting is magic and the vibration of the singing
bowls penetrates my soul.
My heart chakra is open wide and at
times I feel subtle beautiful waves of energy flowing through me. I

What the CD album Turiya
Nada, Cave of the Siddhars brings to us is an immense portal into the
core of our world.
The artist, Nandhi, was
fascinated by the spiritual world while growing up in south India.
However, it was when he was drawn to or called by one of the Siddhar
spiritual masters, that he had a soul awakening.
The Siddhar Ayya initiated
Nandhi into the path of Siddha (meaning the attainment of perfection
through divine grace)and Nandhi was blessed with the vision of God
Himself in the form of the sacred mountain Thiruvannamalai.
Nandhi describes this
amazing, transforming vision as “The two eyes immersed in the splendor
of splendors, which the mind can only know as the blissful awareness in
the state of samadhi, when the third eye opens and sees the universe
within with the only experience being indescribable joy beyond
comparison.”
Nandhi became immersed in
their world and their clear perception of the reality of all life. He
became an open vessel for the expression of The Divine through him.
In Turiya Nada, Cave of
the Siddhars, Nandhi makes consequential use of the didgerido.
The didg is an Australian
aboriginal instrument that creates a drone sound something like the
drone component of Scottish bagpipes. The didg, however, is pure drone,
modulated a bit by the intonation of the voice of the player. It is a
fascinating instrument, to say the least. Nandhi told me, “The didgerido
is the only instrument that comes close enough to the sounds of
meditation.”
His meditation, the
meditation of the enlightened, realized Siddhars, is in the form of a
mantra repeated in a never ending continuous loop as long as one has
breath from a deep gulp of air; and the next and the next deep breath of
air. The mantra is sounded out so rapidly that it becomes as if a blur
to a nearby listener. In this way, it reverberates from the essence of
the meditator, through his body and throughout the Universe and into all
of Creation.
Nandhi utilizes both of
these concepts in his enlightening album, Turiya Nada, Cave of the
Siddhars. He chants the mantras of the Siddhars of south India while a
didgerido sounds out those mantras.
The album builds in four
layers, the four tracks of the CD. Each brings the listener up a few
notches to the brilliant conclusion in the fourth track where a fuller
depth of the Siddhars’ resonance is experienced.
This is not just some
typical monk-chanting CD.
Musically, Nandhi has
woven real instruments, not synthetic and the chanting human voice in
unique, pleasing and spiraling ways. We are led or rather, our heart is
led further in and closer to its own reality. The result is at least a
CD that can be listened to over and over without any tiresome boredom.
The effect is so endearing
that it can be played in a continuous loop all day. One wonders about
the effect such looping (Repeat All) of this CD has not only on the
listener as he or she walks into that room filled with the mantras and
inspired sounds of the Siddhars from the Ages, but also on the angels
and spirits of nature that must be drawn to these pure essence
vibrations.
Ah, life is good.

Nandhi, Turiya Nada, Cave of the Siddhars is riding a wave into a
distribution deal with a major New-Agey distributor. So, until that time

this CD, no foolin’! Why have I even played this CD, so far, nearly
more than any other of the 100s of albums I’ve heard of the past years?
It seems to be a tool. Or a key.
A key to unlock more than a “potential” within. A key to have the
Universe, the Universe Energy gives you what you want, right now...
without having to go anywhere, do anything, etc. Just listen to the
great music and chanting. Could this be so?
It is certainly more than a CD of “keeper” music. You may recall

review

The world of vibration, the first manifestation of all physical
existence from the eternal being, is where all physical existence
originates. It is also the place to which all physical realities will
someday return.
And yet there is no origin and no return, for the world of vibration is
always everywhere, and it is, ultimately, beyond birth and death. This
is the miraculous paradox of life, the divine secret of being: to be
separate-yet-not-separate from the Beloved. As the world music
ambassador Bono puts it: "We're One, but we're not the same".
Music has always been humanity's way to drink from the profound,
endless love found in this world of vibration. Mantras, prayers, chants,
songs, and the awe-inspiring Silence, the essence of music--take us
there, again to that borderless world. Music is our heartbeat, our
breath, our language, our food. Music is the Vedas, the Psalms, the
rhythms of Rumi.
Turiya Nada is one of those bridges, inviting the
soul, the spirit, to commune in loving wholeness with All Creation and
the All-Creator. We hear the sounds of God's love in the drum, the
didgeridoo, the voices, the strings, and in all the subtle tones and
harmonies swirling in the joy and power of Divine Purpose.
I listened to Turiya Nada in the morning, and it did
help bring to perception a wholeness, a harmony in moment-to-moment
life. As I walked through the day I found reason to rejoice that the
people in my life are always, without fail, sent by God to give,
receive, share and celebrate the vibrant rekindling of Peace and Wisdom
in human existence.
Indeed the notes in Turiya Nada explain the purpose
of this music: to help spread the true feeling of Peace to all humanity.
The time is right for Peace to grow everywhere and in everyone. The time
is right for such music, inspired by the realized beings, to carry this
river of Love all over the world.
Turiya Nada: Cave of the Siddhars brought another
mysterious sound to my ear. I did not know what it was. At first, I
thought it was the sound of ocean water on the shore. Then I thought it
was the wind in the trees. Still, I couldn't make out what it was.
Maybe it was the sound of rain landing on a vast field of grain?
Somehow it was all these and more.
Then it dawned on me: the sound of breathing .
It was the deep breathing of a human being, the music of this
in-and-out dance of Eternity in the flesh. The instrument of the breath
seemed to gather all other instruments around it, so that the final
impression of this music was one of hearing the human breath and the
Divine Breath as one.
May this union awaken us all.

Kalathi Adiyen Nandhi gave this CD Cave of the Siddhars
to his guru Siddhar Rajaswamy. Of course, he was
enthusiastic and yet a bit nervous wondering what his guru
might have to say of Cave of the Siddhars. Many of the
sacred chants in this album had been given by Siddhar Rajaswamy
during auspicious moments and in the Siddhar wilderness.
After listening
to the CD, Siddhar Rajaswamy got back saying, "When
you came with me to the forests & sacred places and when we
invoked the Siddhars, I thought that through me you had
received the presence of 4 Siddhar Sages. When I listened to
your CD, I realized in an instant that Mother Kundalini was
