Siddha Shrines

The Siddha shrines radiate the ancient Siddha energy as the eternal energy has been evoked a countless number of times.

The Siddha form of worship of Siva is- to become Siva first and then worship the external Siva as form, there by, multiplying the center of energy.

The Lingam signifies the shape of the Eternal.

The Holy Trinity of the Siva Lingam is-

The Lingam of Space

The Lingam of our body that houses the Holy Ghost

The Lingam of the heart, Athma Lingam.

Parking the mind in these three infinite attributes, the worship of the Infinite Lingam form begins!

The offering of water, poured over the lingam, as our love for the eternal, enables our mind to find union in the divine that we perceive the external form.

In the Karmic plane, we are handing over our past, present and the future by pouring from our Heart, our inner offering as pure water, to the Divine Absolute.

Aum Namah Sivaya!

Siveye Namah Aum!

In this picture above, is Shekhar Swamy, one of my wonderful gurus. He is doing the "Abisheka" for the Siva, who is in the forests near SriKalahasthi.

This ancient Siddha shrine is located in the forests behind SriKalahasthi within a lush green valley.

Siddhar Agastya Nathar and the Natha Sages of the North of India would converge here in this wilderness.

His Lingam form is Vaikona Lingam. Worshipped by Sages living in the divine solitude for many thousand years, slowly, these sacred shrines are coming into common knowing of the population.

Years back, we enjoyed the blissful evening and the night of divine comfort as we slept in the temple.

Before entering the premise is a little mountain stream that is waiting for us to bathe in it, just as the Siddhars had done, before proceeding up to the shrine.

One of the Siddha Sages, called Avadhutha Siddhar who went into Samadhi about 10 years back...

...Siddha Samadhi!

Close your eyes, offer imaginary flowers and connect with the Divine!

AUM

In the foothills of Thiruvannamalai is a cave called Mamara Guhai, a cave where Sri Ramana Maharishi sat in tapasi meditation for six years.

Inside the cave, today is Vishwanathar as Siva and Annapoorna Devi and Rajarajeswari.

This photo was taken just after completing our Shivrathri pooja that started at 7pm to end at 11.30 pm in the cave.

Lingam of each of the Siddha Gurus worhsipped by the Siddhars!

In the depth within, the ancient sacred remains unchanged!

For those, who but seek, are given the first boon of the Siddhars, the Siddhi of wisdom, from the bond of love to unite with the Guru, that allows all other Siddhis to flow as divine grace!

Aum Namah Sivaya! Jai Guruve Thunai!
